L-Ornithine L-Aspartate

L-Ornithine and L-Aspartate are important substrates in the metabolic conversion of ammonia

Brief Introduction

L-Ornithine and L-Aspartate are important substrates in the metabolic conversion of ammonia to urea and glutamine, respectively. L-Ornithine-L-Aspartate (LOLA) thus provides for both of these ammonia detoxification pathways by generating L-Ornithine and L-Aspartate in vivo. Controlled clinical trials suggest that L-Ornithine-L-Aspartate (LOLA) reduce ammonia levels significantly.
